Translations
Our team members only translate into their respective native languages. This means that the person translating your text precisely understands
contemporary usage of the target language and possesses an innate sense for written style, both of which are prerequisites for correctly conveying the
meaning of a text. In addition, rigorous linguistic and/or technical backgrounds give our translators the broad expertise in their areas of specialisation
that they need to translate modern technical texts using accurate terminology.
Our colleagues have a thorough command of a number of different applications and tools, which allows us to work in a wide variety of formats.
Depending on the scope of a given project, teams of translators working in the same language combinations are sometimes formed so that we can
tackle large quantities of text, even on short notice. By using highly developed translation memory systems, we can maximise terminological
consistency and improve our quality assurance. We treat the texts and documents you provide with absolute confidentiality as a matter of course.

Quality assurance
Modern translation memory tools allow users to manage customer-specific text databases and extensive glossaries effectively. In addition, however, they
also go a long way towards improving quality assurance by helping the translator verify consistency in terms of both substance and terminology during
the actual process of translation itself. As soon as the translator selected for the field in question has completed his or her work, proof-readers
(likewise native speakers) perform quality control to ensure that formulations are free of stylistic and technical errors and to make sure that the
translation is complete and that the layout is correct.
For projects that are extensive or that involve more than one language, we hire experienced project managers who co-ordinate and schedule the work of
multiple translators.
Conditions of delivery
Delivering a translation by the agreed deadline is, in addition to our commitment to the highest quality, one of our guiding principles.
Translations are delivered upon your request by e-mail, via the Internet, by fax, on CD-ROM, through the postal service or using an express mail
service—for when it is particularly urgent that you have the original document. Please remember that important originals should always be sent by
registered mail.
